2016 in Review

This year, I wrote a little over 230,000 words in fiction, non-fiction, and journaling. The figure might be a little higher, because my record keeping system was crap for much of the year, so I think some titles didn’t counted properly. I had no word count goal for the year, so even though I feel like I could’ve done more, 230k is a win.

SPEED OF DARKNESS: Day 10

Finished typing Tracy Hickman’s novel, StarCraft: Speed of Darkness. The book clocks in around 52,000 words, and I wrote about 10,000 words today throughout the day. I inadvertently took a day off from typing Speed of Darkness  yesterday, and in fact got no writing done at all. But the events of yesterday are over, and so business as usual. Getting close to finishing retyping Tracy Hickman’s book. I’m right about at the three-quarters mark, nearing the final act. The main story questions have been answered, now the characters have to decide what to do about it all.
